The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) is accepting applications from people who wish to be considered for employment under its Schedule A Program. IRS seeks to recruit and hire applicants with targeted disabilities by aiding these individuals in obtaining employment consistent with their level of skills and abilities. Duties

WHAT IS THE LARGE BUSINESS AND INTERNATIONAL (LB&I) DIVISION? The Large Business and International (LB&I) Division is responsible for tax administration activities for domestic and foreign businesses with a United States tax reporting requirement and assets equal to or exceeding $10 million as well as the Global High Wealth and International Individual Compliance programs. WHAT IS THE TAX EXEMPT & GOVERNMENT ENTITIES (TEGE) DIVISION? As part of the TE/GE division, you'll help customers understand and comply with applicable tax laws and protect public interest by applying the tax law with integrity and fairness to all. TE/GE is designed to serve the needs of three very distinct customer segments: employee plans, exempt organizations and government entities. Ranging from small local community organizations and municipalities to major universities, huge pension funds, state governments, Indian tribal governments and more, they represent a large economic sector with unique needs. Qualifications

Federal experience is not required. The experience may have been gained in the public sector, private sector or Volunteer Service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-timework is considered on a prorated basis.
