This position is located in the Small Business Administration, Office of Field Operations - Region I in Boston, MA. The Lead Lender Relations Specialist is responsible for providing effective leadership, management and oversight required to optimize the deployment of SBA programs and services in the District in order to educate stakeholders and will ensure alignment with SBA and District Goals and Objectives.

Develops and Implements a Strategic Lender Marketing Plan (SLMP)
Lending Institution Outreach, Recruitment or Retention
Lender, Borrower and Partner Technical Training
Group Training
Training events
Lender Development (Relationship building, Counseling, Assistance, and Facilitation)
Small Business Credit Consultation and Assessment
Lead LRS spends at least 25% of time leading journey level, GS-12 Lender Relations Specialists and other Specialists assigned.
Requirements
- You must be a U.S. Citizen.
- You must be a current SBA career/conditional competitive service employee.
- You must successfully complete a background investigation.
- You may be required to serve a one-year probationary period.
- Valid Driver's license is required.
Qualifications
GS-13: One year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service, obtained in either the private or public sector: leading a team in commercial or business loan proposal development, packaging and structuring; and marketing lending program and services to external customers through outreach activities; and conducting formal training or professional development; and in the growth and development of a customer base; and using a variety of software applications and technologies in all aspects of the job.
