About the Position:Serve as the IT-SW STR Equipment Specialist (LAR) with responsibility to develop and implement the Technical Assistance plan for the IT-SW family of systems throughout their lifecycle.
Duties
Participate in extensive weapon system integration theory, planning and testing
Develop requirements as they relate to readiness and sustainment support for IT-SW system
Use expert knowledge and skill in Test Measure and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE), including Spectrum Analyzers, Power Meters, Oscilloscopes, Fiber Optic and Network tester and Digital Volt Meters
Provide expert technical advice, assistance, and instruction to Army commands on the operation and maintenance of CECOM-managed IT-SW equipment and the timely resolution of hardware, software, maintenance and supply problems

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
1) Provide technical assistance to a wide variety of electronic systems; and 2) Write technical reports identifying maintenance trends, technical and administrative matters, etc., including recommendations for improvements at the local level and/or action by higher headquarters; and 3) Review documented log events over a period of time and the solutions used to repair systems to identify causes of failure.
