About the Position: These positions are under the supervision of the Ground Combat Support R&S Directorate. Duties

Resolve field problems referred which require field studies, technical research, and investigation of materiel deficiencies and malfunctions. Provide maintenance and provisioning support to new acquisition and modernization efforts for validation and verification of Army operator, field-level maintenance publications, and NMWR (National Maintenance Work Requirement) programs. Assist in the development of logistics documents that address all the principal elements of support related to the total system life cycle. Utilize logistics databases (such as Logistics Modernization Program {LMP}, Powerlog-J, COMPASS) to determine maintenance trends and input provisioning data, updates, and data extraction for assigned weapon system. Review and provide input to Engineering Change Proposals, Modification Work Orders and Product Quality Deficiency Reports.

Requirements

• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
• This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time.
