Duties

You will assist the Agency Program Coordinator and maintain inventory of office supplies. You will make purchases of a broad range of equipment, commodities, and services through a variety of methods. You will resolve a variety of problems identifying situations from delays, negative trends, and missed or late deliveries. You will ensure quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the Government Purchase Card Program. You will purchase technical items, material carried on Federal Supply Schedules, office materials, predominately new, obsolete, not-in-common use, and not-in-stock items.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

  • Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.

  • This is a bargaining unit position.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Assisting with the purchasing of goods or services with a government commercial credit card. Education


In lieu of general/specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

One academic year of graduate education (or law school, as specified in qualification standards or individual occupational requirements). Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position.
