Duties

You will develop and manage the Annual Affirmative Employment Program Plan. You will analyze workforce profiles to identify problem areas and recommend specific remedial initiatives to address the identified problem You will plan, direct, implement, monitor and evaluate the program to ensure regulatory compliance. You will conduct studies, surveys, and questionnaires to assist the Command Senior Leadership in identifying problems or barriers to equal employment. You will analyze, monitor, and administratively process EEO discrimination complaints to identify problem areas, and develop information for use in designing more effective program plans and actions. Requirements

  • You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: GS-11: Technical knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) program initiatives, policies, procedures, and discrimination complaint matters; Ability to analyze workforce profiles to identify problem area and provides specific remedial initiatives to address the problem. GS-12 Advanced knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) program laws, regulations, judicial and administrative decisions, policies and procedures, and discrimination complaint matters; Knowledge of the principles, regulations, and procedures governing human resources management administration, to include recruitment, selection, grievance, and appeals procedures; highly developed skill in oral and written communication to present facts, considerations, and recommendations to senior management.
