About the Position: The primary purpose for this job is to perform Realty Specialist duties by assisting the Realty Officer in administrating the installation's real property programs in acquisition, accounting, management, and disposal of real property. This is a TERM position not to exceed 13 months.

Duties

Prepares Reports of Availability(s) (ROA) for all Outgrants (Leases, Easements, License and Permits). Compiles, verifies, processes and post real property report data. Provides advice and assistance to activities real property on procedures and regulations. Operates a vehicle (i.e., sedan/pick-up truck) with a gross vehicle weight up to 10,000 pounds.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: One year of specialized experience which includes (1) assisting real property management, master planning support; (2) compiling, verifying, and processing post real property data; and (3) providing data input into a financial, asset and accounting management system. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09). OR Education: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as real estate, regional, urban, or rural planning, geography, geology, business administration, industrial management, engineering, economics, architecture, or accounting of study. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.
