About the Position: Serve as a Digital Training Management System (DTMS) Manager; providing advice and consultation to commanders, leaders, and operators. Duties involve coordination, training, program implementation and evaluation of DTMS program within the Fort Campbell Medical Activity. This position is located at US Army Medical Activity Blanchfield Army Community Hospital at Fort Campbell.

Duties

Provide guidance for digital systems to enable commanders to create training calendars, schedules, battle rosters, and after-action reports. Research regulations, guidelines, policies, directives, reports, and other sources of information to ensure Medical Activity is in compliance with all mandatory training requirements. Review training plans and programs of subordinate headquarters and provides guidance to improve the quality of training and to ensure compliance with directives from higher headquarters. Conduct continuing evaluation of training programs to ensure compliance through inspections, staff visits, and analysis of reported information. Based on analysis and discussions with leaders and commanders concerning training requirements, incumbent develops processes for digital systems integration.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • May occasionally be required to work other than normal duty hours.
  • This position is identified as Mission Essential which may require you to work or remain at work during an emergency situation or when inclement weather has curtailed operations (e.g., threat to the facility, natural disaster, delayed reporting).
  • This position requires Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel approximately 5% of the time away from your permanent duty station.
  • This position requires you to be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance of access for the duration of employment which includes a background investigation and credit check.

OR Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Education or Business Administration OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18.
