About the Position:
This positions are located at Raymond. W. Bliss Army Health Center; Fort Huachuca, AZ.
A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized.

Duties
Serve as help desk point of contact for trouble call.
Receive calls for assistance with system problems that are unable to be resolved by the user or by initial contact with contracted telephone personnel.
Perform call desk customer support for troubleshooting of problems encountered by network customers.
Establish and remove network and e-mail user accounts for Army Medical Department (AMEDD) Activities (MEDDAC/DENTAC/VETCOM) customers.
Assist IT specialists in performing repetitive tasks, including, but not limited to, imaging PCs, installing software updates, and fielding replacement equipment.
Prepare a variety of statistics, graphs, and reports on customer support activity.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- A Personnel Security Investigation is required.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
- Moderate to heavy lifting up to 45 pounds is required.
- This position requires the completion and maintenance of an Information Assurance Certification in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M.
- Position is designated as Mission Essential. The incumbent will be required to report to work during times of contingency operations, natural disasters, extreme weather or other emergency situations.
- A pre-placement medical examination may be required.
Qualifications

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes performing IT help desk support troubleshooting issues with hardware, software, and network systems. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).
OR
Education: One full year of graduate level education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as Computer Science.
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 18. Add the two percentages.
Proficiency Required: This position requires a qualified typist. A qualified typist can type 40 words per minute based on a 5 minute sample with three or fewer errors.
