About the Position: This position is located in Clarksville, Tennessee at Ft. Campbell High School. This position is covered by the DD2396 bargaining unit.

Duties

Perform a variety of school administrative functions such as student registration, student attendance, academic records maintenance, and tuition status. Receive data and enter into the student information management database. Prepare a variety of correspondence using automated word processing equipment. Responsible for new student registration. Assemble student registration packets and distribute them to families. Implement data collection techniques for collecting and electronically transferring student grades Prepare reports from the student information management system database.

Requirements

  • Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Requirement.
  • Proof of U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Direct deposit of pay is required.
  • One year trial or probationary period may be required.
  • Appointment subject to a suitability/fitness determination, as determined by a background investigation.
  • This position requires a Tier 1 (T1) investigation with Childcare Checks since its duties require interaction with children and youth under the age of eighteen (18) years of age.
  • This position requires a qualified typist of 40 WPM.

For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-05). .
