This position is located with Bonneville Power Administration is in the Unified Communications (JNPC) of the Platform Services (JNP) organization of Enterprise Technology Operations Services (JN), Information Technology (J), Bonneville Power Administration (BPA).
A successful candidate in the IT Specialist (SYSANALYSIS/SYSADMIN) position will serve as an IT specialist and technical expert for Unified Communications (VoIP and Video Teleconferencing technologies).

Qualifications
BASIC REQUIREMENT: Experience must be IT related; the experience may be demonstrated by paid or unpaid experience and/or completion of specific, intensive training (for example, IT certification), as appropriate.
For all positions individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below. The employing agency is responsible for identifying the specific level of proficiency required for each competency at each grade level based on the requirements of the position being filled.

3. To meet this requirement you must demonstrate proficiency in each of the four competencies listed above as follows:
GS-13: Advanced - You can perform the actions associated with each of these competencies without assistance. You are recognized within your immediate organization as "a person to ask" when difficult questions arise regarding each of these competencies. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as: 1) Management and configuration of VoIP and Video Teleconference (VTC) systems and associated end-point devices such as ip phones, teleconferencing collaboration devices using VoIP and VTC management services (e.g. Cisco Webex Room Kits, Poly, Control Hub, TMS, Expressway, Cisco CUCM, CMS, Avaya) with a strong customer service record;
2)installing, configuring, troubleshooting IP-based end-point collaboration devices(e.g. ip phones, VTC devices) and associated VTC hardware and backend telephony equipment such as Voice Gateways meeting customer needs;
3) applying analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to issues or studies concerning the design, efficiency and effectiveness of unified communications supporting Enterprise telecommunications and Video Teleconferencing; and
4) recommending new or modified work methods, management processes, and providing support for developing, integrating, testing, and maintenance of voice and video technology systems
