This Supply Technician position is located in the General Services of the Whiteriver Indian Hospital, Whiteriver, Arizona and is responsible for various Supply Management, and Property Management functions such as procurement, inventory control, storage, issuance accountability, utilization, transportation, and other services. This position reports to the Supply Supervisor.
Duties
Maintain stock control records, issues, receipts, storage allocation, stock control levels, variance and inventory adjustments using a Supply Management System.
Initiates stores stock action based on review of monthly and daily supply reports and records and audits Supply Data System and produce monthly and quarterly reports as established.
Enters Requisition Requests for Purchases into the Unified Financial Management System (UFMS) for items above the Micro-purchase threshold.
Serves as a Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) for program functional areas at the Service Unit and as the technical liaison between the contractors and the Contracting Officer.
Responsible for tasks and operations related to Fleet Management and perform Office Services in accordance with the general services policies and procedures.
Qualifications

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer and part time experience. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
GS-06 Grade Leave: Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent at the grade level (GS-05) in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks: Examples include: utilizing the Unified Financial Management Systems (UFMS) or a similar automated system for ordering and receiving supplies in a health care setting; reconciling transactions and processing payments for recurring invoices; & compiling/ reviewing/maintaining data from contracts, purchase orders, and/or requisitions.
GS-07 Grade Level: Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent at the grade level (GS-06) in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks: Examples include: processing purchase documents, receiving reports, inventory reports, reports of survey, excess reports, etc.; interprets federal directives; and reviews of all routine purchase requests.
Time In Grade
Federal employees in the competitive service are also subject to the Time-In-Grade Requirements: Merit Promotion (status) candidates must have completed one year of service at the next lower grade level. Time-In-Grade provisions do not apply under the Excepted Service Examining Plan (ESEP).
