You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT (MILITARY) in the Officer Processor of NRD PHILADELPHIA.

Duties

You will be responsible for scheduling, administering, scoring and transmitting the officer tests to the appropriate commands. You will ensure officer applicants meet basic eligibility and program authorization requirements for specific programs. You will prepare reports or other documents as required for appropriate signature. You will ensure accuracy, timeliness, completeness and proper forwarding of records to various commands/boards. You will recognize and initiate actions to clarify questions and resolve inconsistencies or discrepancies in records. You will type a wide variety of correspondence, reports, records and documents.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing knowledge of military policies, procedures, rules, and regulations to maintain military personnel service records; 2) Researching information in military records and databases in order to respond to inquiries regarding military human resources issues; 3) Utilizing automated systems to create and maintain military records.
