Duties

Maintain the Directors Calendar and schedules as well as briefs attendees on the time and purpose of meetings and ensures appropriate attendees or their representatives are notified and are in attendance. Provide support to senior staff in tracking personnel operations by preparing recurring reports by obtaining required information, researching and locating procedures, policies, and regulations, also provides assistance as needed. Perform various administrative support duties for the directorate and serve as a Government Purchase Cardholder. Serve as Alternate Site Security Manager for the Defense Eligibility Enrollment Reporting System and Real-Time Automated Personnel Identification System in support of benefits management and the Uniformed Services Identification Card program.

  • A secret security clearance is required throughout the appointment.
  • A valid State Driver's License is required throughout this appointment
  • Must be fully qualified typist.

Collect and analyze various types of information to update databases and provide answers to those who need the information for research etc. Provide customer services such as screening visitors, obtaining information, and clarifying facts. Review Documents, correspondence and forms to ensure they are correct and are going to the correct person for review or approval. Or Have successfully completed one full academic year of graduate level education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as Business Management; Human Resources. (Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.) Or Have the specialized experience as described in A, but less than one year; and I have some graduate level education as described in B, but less than the required one year. I have computed the percentage of the requirements that I meet, and the total is at least 100% (To compute the percentage, divide your total months of qualifying experience by 12. Then, divide your semester hours of graduate education by 18. Add the two percentages. The total percentage must equal at least 100 percent to qualify.). (Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.) Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
