Duties
Serves as Affirmative Employment and Compliance Branch Chief, and leads a team of EEO managers involved in Affirmative Employment Plan (AEP) development, implementation and oversight.
Leads development, coordination and implementation of the Agency-wide AEP encompassing DCAA goals and objectives. Evaluates program effectiveness and makes recommendations for changes and improvements.
Performs work leader duties. Provides guidance, feedback and direction to team members to ensure compliance with Agency goals and objectives. Coordinates and plans work activities.
Oversees Agency EEO site visits and compliance program. Conducts site visits to various Agency offices to ensure EEO program compliance. Develops and conducts EEO program training sessions.
Oversees the Agency’s reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities and provides guidance and assistance to Reasonable Accommodation Manager.

Qualifications
You may qualify for consideration if meeting time-in grade, specialized experience, education requirement, 90 days after competitive appointment requirement, and all other qualification requirements within 30 calendar days after the closing date of the announcement, unless otherwise indicated on the announcement.

Specialized Experience:
You must have one year of specialized experience at the GS-12 or equivalent level. Specialized experience must be documented in your resume.Specialized experience includes developing and implementing Affirmative Employment Plans; providing advice and technical guidance to managers regarding Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) laws, regulations and policies; conducting barrier analyses of workplace environments and EEO compliance reviews; and providing training related EEO programs and policies.
Volunteer Experience: Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills, and can provide valuable training and experience that translates to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
