About the Position: Serves as the S-1 Personnel Division Chief of a Recruiting Brigade for U.S. Army Recruiting Command (USAREC). Incumbent will be responsible for the formulation, maintenance, and overall supervision of all military and civilian human resources (HR) matters.

Duties

Establishes operating guidelines to implement procedures, methods, and other work related changes that improve operating effectiveness and/or correct problems. Reviews submitted personnel actions to ensure compliance with policies and regulations. Establishes work priorities and performance standards for subordinate employees. Oversee the organizations military and civilian human resources (HR) functions to enhance personnel readiness. Coordinates issues and actions related to replacements, personnel actions, reliefs, awards, and evaluations with assigned organization. Prepares special requests and other documentation for senior-leadership. Provide technical support on human resource (HR) associated automate databases and systems.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
