About the Position: Serve as a Construction Manager responsible for performing and coordinating the full range of field and office engineering activities associated with complex construction operations occurring concurrently at multiple locations.

Duties

Incumbent is recognized as the operational technical expert, advisor and principal source of expertise with regards to highly challenging and complicated contract administration, and constructability issues and problems. As a Construction Manager, participates in the oversight of projects within assigned area of responsibility. Responsible for all contract administration matters of the assigned contract work.

Requirements

  • This position requires the incumbent to possess or obtain and maintain a driver's license in one of the 50 US states or possessions and any installation and/or DoD requirement.

Specialized experience is defined as skill in using construction methods and techniques to manage and coordinate construction operations and perform as a contract officer representative. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). This position has a selective placement factor: The incumbent must possess and maintain a either a license as a Registered Architect (RA) or a Professional Engineer (PE) license that an officially recognized professional board in a U.S. State, the District of Columbia, or a U.S. Territory has issued. A current license is required to be uploaded with your application package.
