You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY DIVISION, CORPORATE OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER PORT HUENEME DIVISION.
Duties
You will be responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and sustaining Telecom customer services for Naval Surface Warfare Center Port Hueneme Division.
You will assist in the analysis of vulnerabilities of specific technologies or products and providing recommendations for the coherent and cohesive method for delivering IT/Telecom service and application support.
You will assist with the implementation and maintenance of the activity's IT/Telecom service management program and plans and defines solutions to meet command-wide IT/Telecom service requirements.
You will formulate and recommend new solutions, processes, and supplements that support command digital Telecom requirements.
You will participate in Telecom security test and evaluation, perform the testing, evaluate the results of testing, recommend appropriate corrective action when deficiencies are identified.
You will lead a team of contractor IT/Telecom support personnel and advise management on the full range of issues relative to IT/Telecom security, services, Information Assurance policy, procurement, and related subjects.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: evaluating telecommunications project requirements to develop plans to improve customer service and telecommunication services for a warfare program.
