About the Position: This vacancy exists within the office of the PEO CS & CSS Force Projection. Positions will be specifically located in the PEO CS&CSS, Force Projection. However, the referral list generated by this announcement may be used to fill future vacancies in the PEO CS&CSS and PEO GCS with locations at Warren, MI and/or Selfridge, MI
Duties
Serves as Program Analyst and senior staff manager for program management for a major military vehicle or weapon system technology development program under PEO, Project, or Product Management.
Performs all cost/schedule/resources management and program reporting for one or more major vehicle systems or major category of vehicle technology, or, in the largest programs, for one or more funding categories.
Develops and coordinates a responsive financial management program to assure availability or resources to meet established milestones and events for development and fielding of the system.
Tasks participating and supporting organizations with program and budget planning and reporting actions by developing and disseminating requirements, methods, justification strategies, and reporting cycle.
Identifies existing or potential problem areas and recommends or directs necessary corrective action for preventive measures.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance for the duration of employment.
- This position requires you to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel away from your permanent duty station requirement of up to 10% of the time.
- This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for Financial Management - Practitioner within 60 months as of entrance on duty
- This position requires FM CERTIFICATION LEVEL 2 (FMC02). Selectees must obtain level 2 certification in the Department of Defense Financial Management program within 24 months of entrance on duty.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Your resume must describe at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-02 or (GS-11 equivalent) grade level in the Federal service which includes:1) Evaluating cost/schedule/resources management and program reporting for one or more programs and funding categories; 2) Providing program information input to assure adequate support to the program and maintenance; 3) Utilizing technical knowledge of automated systems to analyze and/or develop alternative solutions for budget issues; and 4) Communicating project/program status to identify areas needing emphasis and to ensure costs and schedules are accurately planned and executed. The definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service NH-02 (or GS-11 equivalent)
