The primary purpose of this position is to provide high-level administrative support to the entire AFLCMC CROWS across all locations in the areas of travel, Government Purchase Cards, document management/records, equipment custodian, recall roster and serve as the CROWS Training Manager.
Duties
Directs, initiates, develops, implements, and provides management oversight of policies, procedures, and correspondence associated with the management of travel, payroll, and records/documents management.
Analyzes administrative support programs for AFLCMC/CROWS and provides advice regarding administrative aspects of organization's programs.
Provides high-level administrative support to the Directorate.
Represents AFLCMC/CROWS at meetings, special events, projects, etc., to communicate policies and procedures in areas of expertise. Performs a variety of administrative duties in connection with special projects, critical administration tasks, and meetings.

Qualifications
Experience requirements are described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, administrative and management positions. Due to the use of 120-day rosters, this period of experience may be completed within 120 days of the closing date of this announcement.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-07, or equivalent in other pay systems. Examples of specialized experience includes knowledge of a wide range of federal and agency administrative concepts, principles, practices, procedures, regulations, and laws applicable to FDT A, GPC, purchasing, overseas travel management, and administrative support functions. Knowledge and skill of applying conventional analytical and evaluative methods and techniques concerning applicable administrative operations. Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Prepares and make presentations. Thorough understanding of the interrelationships/interfaces of both command and directorate functions, reporting channels, workforce, cultures and practices, higher level management requirements and objectives in order to determine support needs and maintain a good working relationship and cooperation from others through tact, courtesy, and diplomacy. EDUCATION: Must have successfully completed a master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B or J.D. in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work of the position. NOTE: You must submit copies of your official college transcripts.
OR
COMBINATION OF EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: If you have less than the full amount of specialized experience described in the job opportunity announcement; however, have at least one year of progressively higher level graduate education, but have not obtained a master's or equivalent graduate degree. Therefore, have a combination of experience and education. Note: You must submit a copy of official transcripts.
FEDERAL TIME-IN-GRADE (TIG) REQUIREMENT FOR GENERAL SCHEDULE (GS) POSITIONS: Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-07 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-09 level. TIG applies if you are in a current GS position or held a GS position within the previous 52 weeks.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:

PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
