Duties
Incumbent will tag and label property such as printer, copier, and various office equipment; receiving supplies and mail and examine items noting coverage, shortages, or damages incurred, logging mail and disseminate accordingly, maintain stock levels of supplies in mail room, printer accessories and copier supplies; ensure equipment and furniture received match the purchase order number, type information into data base, organize and disseminate purchase orders and reconciliations documents and ability to reference CFR and DOI policy.

Qualifications
GS-05: 1 year specialized experience at the GS-4 grade level providing support services to the personnel in property management in the function of inventory control to ensure that all personal and real property is properly marked, recorded, and accounted for prior to distribution or storage; motor vehicle management reconciling log book with miles, dates, departments, and maintenance history; use of automated data system to log the pick-up and delivery of mail, packages, boxes, shipping containers and routing each item appropriately; answer routine questions regarding shipping, receiving, and delivery of mail and supplies.

4 years education above a high level.
GS-06: 1 year specialized experience at the lower grade level processing accountability records and transfers of personal and real properties that has transferred to and from the Bureau of Indian Affairs as excess property or for accountability on behalf of tribes; provide recommendation to the supervisor in planning, directing, and controlling the Region, Office of Justice Services (OJS), and Bureau of Indian Education (BIE) property including supply management operations for the storage, inventory, and accountability management process; conduct motor vehicle management by coordinating preventative maintenance with the General Service Administration (GSA), Fedstrip, GSA Federal Supply Schedule using appropriate acquisitions and procedures.
GS-07: 1 year specialized experience at the lower grade level assisting with the annual physical inventory, property disposal and surveys, performing follow-up to ensure physical inventory is completed timely; provide technical advice and assistance in matters pertaining to inventory management, inventory documentation, procedures and policy referencing the Federal Property Management Regulations, CFR, and Department in Interior Property Management Regulations; gather, assemble, and analyze facts to render solutions pertaining to property and supply management over site.

If you cannot obtain your graduate school's definition of one year of graduate study, 18 semester hours (or 27 quarter hours) should be considered as satisfying the requirement for one year of full-time graduate study.
