About the Position: - PEO Solider- Join Team Soldier! As a Logistics Management Specialist in Program Executive Office Soldier, the incumbent of this position will help Team Soldier save Soldiers' lives, improve their quality of life, and increase their combat effectiveness. Duties
Plan and Coordinate logistics activities, such as development of acquisition logistics documentation,
Evaluate logistical requirements to develop, field, and transition specified programs.
Monitor progress toward meeting logistics plans and identify causes that impact schedule slips.
Develop/integrate the logistics processes to improve the effectiveness of logistics activities,
Coordinate directly with appropriate U.S Army Tank Automotive and Armaments Command (TACOM) entities to successfully transition a specified program into sustainment.
Implement plans, schedules, controls, charts, instructions, and procedures related to the Integrated Product Support (IPS) aspects of assigned items/systems throughout the life cycle.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
- Business travel is required up to 15% of the time.
- This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. (Advanced) Selectee must meet position requirements for Life Cycle Logistics certification within 48 months as of entrance on duty
- This position requires submission of Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450, upon entering the position and annually thereafter.
- One year trial/probationary period may be required.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes:1 )Planning the development of product support strategies for defense weapon systems using the integrated product support process/elements; AND 2) Developing logistics documents such as life cycle sustainment plans; AND 3) Utilizing acquisition and logistics policies to develop life cycle funding that meet budget requirements of assigned defense weapon systems This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
