About the Position: - PEO Solider- Join Team Soldier! As a Logistics Management Specialist in Program Executive Office Soldier, the incumbent of this position will help Team Soldier save Soldiers' lives, improve their quality of life, and increase their combat effectiveness. PEO Soldier's mission is to rapidly deliver agile/adaptive, leading edge Soldier capabilities in order to provide combat overmatch today and be more lethal tomorrow.

Duties

Plan and Coordinate logistics activities, such as development of acquisition logistics documentation, Evaluate logistical requirements to develop, field, and transition specified programs. Monitor progress toward meeting logistics plans and identify causes that impact schedule slips. Develop/integrate the logistics processes to improve the effectiveness of logistics activities, Coordinate directly with appropriate U.S Army Tank Automotive and Armaments Command (TACOM) entities to successfully transition a specified program into sustainment. Implement plans, schedules, controls, charts, instructions, and procedures related to the Integrated Product Support (IPS) aspects of assigned items/systems throughout the life cycle.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
• Business travel is required up to 15% of the time.
• This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. (Advanced) Selectee must meet position requirements for Life Cycle Logistics certification within 48 months as of entrance on duty
• This position requires submission of Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450, upon entering the position and annually thereafter.
• One year trial/probationary period may be required.
