Duties

Reviews activity budgets for reasonableness and complementing actions; ensures all individual budgets are coordinated to support the NAFIs long range plans. Coordinates and consolidates individual activity budgets, input to command budget estimate and cash budget into a into a single NAFI budget package. Reviews and analyzes financial reports to identify trends, working capital and the NAFI's financial position. Monitors use of resources, identifies imbalances and recommends corrective actions

Qualifications

Demonstrated work experience in the following areas:1. Interpreting and assessing program financial performance using standard financial management systems.2. Interpreting balance sheet and profit and loss statement results requiring the application of commercial budgeting techniques. 3. Experience in financial management operations.4. Ability to deal tactfully and effectively with all levels of the organization/serviced organizational elements.5. Understanding of the substantive nature of the Army's Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) and community and family support operating programs and their interrelationships and funding channels.
