Serve as the primary point of contact to the squadron commander/director for all administrative support programs to include but not limited to task management, cybersecurity liaison, Government Travel Card program, Defense Travel System administrator, drug demand reduction program, health care program, fitness program, Government Purchase Card program, safety program.
Duties
Directly assist the commander/director in the management of all administrative support program functions.
Act as the point of contact for all newly assigned personnel; orients them regarding the basic functions of the organization, introduces them to key personnel and schedule their initial training/orientation requirements.
Train, orient, direct, and oversee the duties and work products of squadron POCs. Assigns suspense's to all staff personnel to support the commander/director.
Serve as the resident subject matter expert for all mandated administrative support programs.
Develop and implement procedures to track program status and maintain program health.
Identify and respond to trends of programs and keeps them operating at or above satisfactory levels.
Advise the commander/director on policy and executes directives through the establishment of procedures for associated programs.
Serve as the organizational point of contact and liaison with the personnel flight on military and civilian personnel issues.
Assist in planning, administering, and monitoring manpower resource requirements.
Develop, establish, update, and maintain office procedures and records/files of various types to ensure effective and efficient operation of the office.

Qualifications
In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience or educational substitution requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions here under the heading Clerical and Administrative Support Positions.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade NK-01, or equivalent in other pay systems. Examples of specialized experience includes maintaining office or personnel records, greeting and directing customers and personnel, and assisting in preparing reports.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:1. Knowledge of the organizational and functional responsibilities and operations of an organization.2. Knowledge of various office automation software programs, tools, and techniques to support office operations and produce a variety of documents such as letters, reports, spreadsheets, databases, and graphs.3. Knowledge of structure, programs and work methods of organization for personnel/manning issues.4. Skill in fact-finding, problem analysis, problem resolutions, and development of concrete action plans to solve problems.5. Ability to gather, analyze and present facts, communicate effectively, using tact and courtesy and possess the ability to plan, organize work, and meet deadlines.6. Ability to plan and organize management programs and functions of an organization.
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
VOLUNTEER WORK EXPERIENCE: Refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service Programs (i.e., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student and social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge and skills that can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
