You will serve as a Telecommunication Specialist in the Marine Corps Installation Command of MARCORPS NATIONAL CAPITAL REGION.

Duties
You will plan, develop, and manage one or more substantive national telecommunications infrastructures, policies, and/or programs.
You will develop technical strategies for major long-term communications acquisition projects associated to communication facilities and their telecommunication infrastructure.
You will design studies to assess communication facilities and required telecommunications capabilities to meet new business strategies or mission requirements.
You will advise top-level management on applying new technology in a telecommunications specialty area.
You will devise new analytical techniques to evaluate complex policy and program issues.
You will oversee the implementation of state-of-the-art telecommunications projects to support highly specialized or broad-range stakeholder's
circuits and their networks and systems/operations.
You will participates in government-wide working groups, or develops strategies for capabilities to meet unique agency requirements.
You will participate in projects that prototype and pilot new telecommunication architectures, technologies, concepts and enhancements.
You will set priorities based on extensive knowledge of agency Communication Facilities and telecommunication programs, policies, and procedures, and redirect program efforts to meet changing deadlines and goals.
You will investigate and analyze how to expand major telecommunication technology modernization activities to comply with current national and international telecommunication regulations and industry standards.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing most or all of the following duties: 1) Overseeing the implementation of state-of-the-art telecommunications projects to support highly specialized or broad-range systems/operations; 2) Conducting comprehensive evaluations to ensure that an organization is meeting its stated goals, identifying areas where operational efficiency can be enhanced and making recommendations for improvement; 3) Developing, directing and administrating short and long-range fiscal plans and annual budgets for all expenses necessary for agency-wide telecommunications network support services and maintenance; 4) Making recommendations and decisions relating to policy formulation and long-range program planning in connection with prospective changes in functions and programs; 5) Designing studies to assess communication facilities and required telecommunications capabilities to meet new business strategies or mission requirements and 6) Preparing reports and written analyses regarding applicable telecommunication regulations, policies and positions on difficult or complex matter
