This National Guard position is for a PROGRAM ANALYST, Position Description Number T5115000 and is part of the PA Deputy Chief of Staff G4, National Guard.

Duties
As a PROGRAM ANALYST, GS-0343-09, you will conduct studies of work processes and procedures. Identify problems, review production standards, and make tentative recommendations for problem resolution. Review reports and studies to ensure that user requirements are met, and appropriate rules and regulations are utilized. Assist in the development of directives and the design, development, documentation, and implementation of various reporting systems. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements

Qualifications
APPOINTMENT STATUS: EXCEPTED
This is a Title 5 Excepted Service position in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard.

Supervisor for this position is Ms. Lori McCarthy.
*NOTE: Accessioning into this position is contingent upon verification of Tier 1 Security Clearance.
GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience, education, or training in administrative, professional, investigative, technical or other responsible work which demonstrates analytical ability and a practical and theoretical knowledge of the functions, processes and principles of management. Experience using computer and automation systems.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Application must indicate 24 months experience which has provided a working knowledge of the National Guard organizational structures, functions, procedures, and techniques. Experience analyzing, interpreting and developing policies and procedures of local management.
QUALITY OF EXPERIENCE: Length of time is not of itself qualifying. Candidates' experience should be evaluated on the basis of duties performed rather than strictly on the rank of the individual; however, established compatibility criteria/assignments must be followed. The applicant's record of experience, training, and education must show possession of the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to fully perform the duties of the position to be filled.
