About the Position: The mission of the CCAD is to overhaul, repair, modify, retrofit, test and modernize helicopters, engines and components for all services and foreign military customers. We provide worldwide on-site maintenance services, aircraft crash analysis, lubricating oil analysis, chemical, metallurgical and training support.
Duties
Work under the general supervision of the Alcohol and Drug Control Officer (ADCO) who outlines broad program goals and objectives of the installation Army Substance Abuse Program (ASAP).
Assist the PC in the development of a depot-wide ASAP substance abuse prevention education plan of instruction to include developing lesson plans for all training conducted for the ASAP training program.
Prepare EAP reports and provides data for the preparation of ASAP reports.
Perform the day-to-day operations of the Drug Test Program (DTP).
Maintain licenses and certifications as required to meet regulatory and policy guidance.

- Must be able to obtain and maintain DA Drug Test Coordinator (DTC) within 12 months of assuming duties
- Must obtain and maintain Breath Alcohol Test (BAT) Certification within one (1) year from the date of employment.

Basic Requirements
Degree: Bachelor's degree (or higher degree) in behavioral or social science, or related disciplines appropriate to the position, such as Psychology, Social Work, or Counseling.
OR
Experience: Four years of appropriate experience that demonstrated that the applicant has acquired knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field.

Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience that provided the applicant with knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the
Minimum Requirements
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Assisting with the development and administration of Army Substance Abuse Program (ASAP) prevention education program; 2) Assisting with scheduling and coordination of Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services; 3) Interpreting regulations and guidance pertaining to the Drug Test Program (DTP). This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).
OR
Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as Psychology, Social Work, or Counseling.
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.
