This position is located with the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Superintendent, Southern Pueblos Agency in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Incumbent will assist the manager in the Office of the Superintendent to execute administrative functions.

NOTE: TRAVEL AND RELOCATION EXPENSES WILL NOT BE AUTHORIZED. ANY RELOCATION EXPENSES ASSOCIATED WITH REPORTING FOR DUTY WILL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE SELECTED EMPLOYEE.
Duties
Provides assistance in the execution of administrative functions requiring formulation, analysis and presentation of a variety of program information.
Develops and formulates budget estimates and justifications.
Organizes budget data according to appropriation account, object class and line-item code.
Maintains reports on the status and availability of funds.
Monitors and tracks fiscal obligations and expenditures.
Assists in the analysis of actual cost changes such as personnel salaries and related expenses or utility costs and supplies.
Serves as timekeeper for the administrative support staff.
Maintains the purchase charge card functions.
Assist in the proper maintenance and disposal of files and records.

Qualifications
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: (OPM Operating Manual, Qualification Standards for GS-303.)
GS-06: Qualifying is oneyear of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-05 grade level in the Federal service. Examples of specialized experience include gathering data; preparing and reviewing reports and correspondence; tracking correspondence through a software system; reviewing travel arrangements and processing vouchers; arranging conferences, meetings, training sessions; ensuring all requests for action or information are acted upon and due dates are met; assisting with budget activities; maintaining office filing systems and records; responding to general telephone inquiries and correspondence; preparing purchase orders and requisitions; utilizing software to log information and maintain a database including incoming and outgoing mail; perform timekeeping functions.
