This position is located in the Maritime Administration, Office of Deputy Associate Administrator for Federal Sealift. This position is established to supervise a team of professionals responsible for implementing and executing all major acquisition programs in support of all programs. The principal focus is on the Ready Reserve Force (RRF) Ship Manager (SM) contract development, award, execution and performance, including tracking cost, schedule, risks, and ancillary support of the program.

Qualifications
To meet the minimum qualifications for this position, you must meet the specialized experience requirements.To qualify for the Grade 15, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equal or equivalent to the GS-14, it must include:
Experience supervising and directing the work of an organizational unit responsible for program development, evaluation, coordination, and project management of ocean-going vessel custody, activation, deactivation maintenance, and operations.
Experience with acquisitions and oversight of million-dollar contract amounts, to include laws, policies, and practices to formulate successful solutions to technical and contractual issues.
