Serves as a Human Resources Specialist (Labor and Employee Relations) for the Northwest Mountain Office of Labor and Employee Relations.

At the I-band level-

Requirements

• US Citizenship is required.
• Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
• Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents)
• Occasional travel may be required.
• Interviews may be conducted.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position at the FV- H level:To qualify for this position you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the FV- G or FG/GS-10/11 level. Specialized experience is: Experience interpreting and applying labor and/or employee relations laws and policies; facilitating resolutions of conflicts or complaints; and experience in the preparation of discipline and conduct related actions.To qualify for this position at the FV- I level:To qualify for this position you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the FV- H or FG/GS-12 level. Specialized experience is: Experience providing guidance and administering union contracts; experience recommending course of actions for resolutions to grievance, conflict, and complaints; and experience as an advocate in arbitration or other third party proceedings.Applicants should include examples of their specialized experience in their work history.Qualifications must be met by the closing date of the vacancy announcement.Please ensure you answer all questions and follow all instructions carefully.
