This position is located at Department of Homeland Security, US Coast Guard, Coast Guard Base Borinquen, in Aguadilla, PR.
Duties
This position participates in the administration, operation, and management of the Coast Guard Owned Housing programs, Unaccompanied Personnel Housing (UPH), Inter-Service Support Agreements (ISSAs), and Memorandum of Agreements (MOA) between USCG and other Armed Forces, Federal and State agencies for Base Detachment Housing site in Aguadilla, PR.
Requirements
- This position requires a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI).
- Males born after 12/31/1959 must be registered for Selective Service.
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- The position requires a valid state driver's license.
- One year probationary period may be required
Qualifications
Applicant must have one-year specialized experience equivalent to the GS-5 Grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. Examples of specialized experience include: Preparing and submits leases, modifications, procurement requests and purchase orders for approval and signature; processing housing applications; arranging for the repair, storage and distribution of equipment and furnishings; managing leased housing for accompanied and unaccompanied personnel. schedules and procedures in carrying out activities related to the use, operation, and management of housing assets; Receives and processes applications for housing.
