You will serve as the Large Force Test Event (LFTE) Government Special Security Officer (GSSO) in the Security Department of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV POINT MUGU.
Duties
You will serve as the subject matter expert to the NAWCWD Wing Commander, Gray Flag Integrated Product Team, NAWCWD SAP Management Officer for all Large Force Test Event (LFTE) activities.
You will coordinate security and participate in LFTE planning conferences and working groups both on-site and off-site.
You will coordinate and execute LFTE's across security domains and various staging sites.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- MSP/PPP applicants must currently hold the required security clearance.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11/12) or pay band (DA-04) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience includes duties related to the following: 1) Interpreting and applying knowledge of Collateral/GENSER, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Special Access Program (SAP) Security policies and guides to provide recommendations; 2) Assessing security risks and providing recommendations/solutions to executive leadership; 3) Leading and integrating a team across services, disciplines, and departments; 4) Identifying the causes of security problems, and choosing courses of action that balance the interests of the mission and stakeholders.
