As the Supervisory Electrical Engineering Technician, the incumbent is in charge of administration and operation of project management, project negotiations, inspection programs, and updating ofmechanical/electrical schematics and drawings for various projects.
Location of position: Public Buildings Service (PBS), National Capital Region (NCR), Triangle Service CenterWe are currently filling one vacancy, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed.
Duties
Develops and implements comprehensive improvement plans in collaboration with other agencies to maintain high customer satisfaction levels. Lead teams and research complex customer project/transactional issues and resolve unusual customer service complaints. Assess project needs and make recommendations to improve processes.
Conducts studies, develops reports and tracks incoming customer support issues and problems to final resolution. Uses multi-system tracking and performance monitoring programs to identify potential problems and service shortfalls.
Provide expert advice in response to challenging customer inquiries, including regular progress updates and oversight to ensure that the solutions are being implemented as agreed to and effectively resolving the problems or issues identified. Provides expert advisory and support services for team quality improvement.
Identifies, studies, and analyzes systemic problems. Evaluates the needs of customers and develops specific solutions to meet those needs. Performs studies in which customer support data is summarized and trends identified. Evaluates and makes recommendations to improve team procedures and policies in order to improve customer service and the efficiency of the team's operations.

If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected.To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or higher in the Federal service.
Specialized experience is experience performing customer account management including planning, executing and achieving established customer support goals; establishing and maintaining customer relationships; and serving as a customer advocate. This experience must include public speaking, independently using marketing strategies as a business discipline, marketing supplies and services and application of professional budget analysis, methods and techniques.
