About the Position: This position is located at: The United States Military Entrance Processing Command, Fort Hamiliton Military Entrance Processing Station, Operations Group, Testing Section, New York.
This is a permanent position.
Description of the Working Environment: Work is performed in an office setting.
Duties
Provide test scoring procedure briefings to newly assigned recruiters.
Advise Test Control Officer on the validity of testing procedures.
Resolve test scoring automation issues.
Determine applicant eligibility to test to ensure test score integrity.
Ensure valid test scores are entered timely into the automated accession reporting system in accordance with policies and procedures.
Report incidents of test loss and compromise.
Provide training on proper test score data entry.
Oversee security and control over testing procedures to ensure validation of test scoring.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Evening and weekend work as required.
- Must have or be able to obtain/maintain a driver's license.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience.
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes work that involves managing controlled items in an office setting; operating a variety of office automation equipment; giving oral instructions to groups of people; maintaining and filing applicant records; conducting aptitude testing of applicants; and ensuring security/accountability of testing materials. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06). Applicants who are current Federal employees or who are eligible for Reinstatement may be able to qualify with experience equivalent to the second lower grade, (GS-05).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
Applicants that are Current Federal employees or who are eligible for Reinstatement that have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the second lower grade, (GS-05).
