About the position: This position will be assigned to the Maxwell Club. This is an intermittent/ flexible position. Incumbent can be scheduled 0-40 hours based on activity need. ***This announcement is in conjunction with the Civilian Personnel Flight, Non-Appropriated Fund Job Fair to be held on Thursday, March 28, 2024 from 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM at Central Alabama Community College 1320 Old Ridge Road Prattville, AL 36066.***

Duties

Carries supplies and equipment, such as liquors, fruits, ice, glasses, linens and silverware from storage areas to the bar. Slices and peels fruit. Fills ice bins and crushes ice. Washes and cleans bar glasses, bar equipment and keeps the work area clean and neat. Replaces empty beer kegs with full kegs with the aid of a dolly; stocks beer coolers. Wipes down the interior and exterior surfaces of coolers. Helps in setting up service bars and portable bars. Carries debris to waste containers. May serve bottle beer, soft drinks and draw beer from kegs. Qualifying Experience: Ability to follow simple oral instructions, and be able to use knives and automatic slicers to prepare garnishes. Ability to frequently lift objects weighing 5 to 15 pounds, pull and push objects weighing 10 to 20 pounds, and occasionally lift up to and over 40 pounds.

Education

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution.

FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program.
