About the Position: This position is with the US Installation Management Command, US Army Garrison Fort McCoy, DPTMS Training Division, Range Maintenance Section at Ft. McCoy, WI.

Duties

Develops policies and procedures, including SOPs, for use by the airfield sections to meet the needs of all customers. Projects, manages, and provides budget requirements to the Airfield Manager. Develops, implements, manages, and annually reviews airfield-related plans and programs, including the Airfield Operations Training Program. Develops and administers contract surveillance activities over Airfield Operations and Aircraft Services performed by private contractors and oversee operations for conformance with PWS. Plans, coordinates, and executes support requirements for transient missions at the airfield, to include joint service exercises, special operations, emergency deployment readiness exercises.

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • TDY travel is occasionally required.
  • This position requires a pre-employment physical and an annual physical once appointed to the position.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain Flight-line Drivers License.
