You will serve as a Production Process Branch Manager in the Production Resources Process Division (Code 900P), within the Production Resources Department (Code 900) of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF.

Duties

You will deliver briefings and presentations to a variety of audiences, to include Project Managers and Command leadership. You will communicate with personnel inside and outside of the department and work with program managers, supervisors, and personnel external to the shipyard. You will execute production program requirements and ensure assigned programs are executed timely and within program objectives. You will establish new techniques, criteria and program information involved with production operations and requirements. You will manage and execute projects and studies which require substantive analysis of interrelated issues of effectiveness, efficiency, and/or productivity of substantive mission-oriented production programs. You will review and analyze assigned programs, work in progress, and project plans in relation to operational feasibility, adequacy, uniformity, and conformance to regulatory requirements. You will prepare and collaborate in the preparation of comprehensive analysis reports covering all phases of studies and investigations covered, conclusions reached and recommendations for improvement or corrective action. You will ensure production program requirements are met to effectively plan and execute shipyard projects. You will be responsible for the overall implementation, coordination and monitoring of programs and projects (i.e., occupational safety, health, and environment; performance improvement; logistics; detachment support). You will provide technical advice, guidance, and resolve all production program problems encountered.

  • You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing and interpreting regulatory requirements and production policies to develop and implement recommendations for the improvement of efficiency and timeliness of program resource processes.
