These positions are assigned to MWR, Business Operations Division, and will be referred out to Twin Oaks Bowling Center.
Duties
Work under general supervision of the bowling facility manager who provides assignments either orally or through work orders. The supervisor for timeliness and proper operation of equipment may check completed work.
As a working leader performs regular nonsupervisory duties and is responsible to supervisor for assuring that the work assignments of the group led are carried out.
Diagnoses equipment malfunctions, and refers to manufacturer's diagrams and specifications, schematics, and wiring diagrams. Uses test equipment such as continuity testers, voltmeters, ohmmeters and feeler gages.
Conducts operational checks, visually checking for worn or damaged parts.
Traces wiring, disassembles equipment, makes adjustments, repairs or replaces defective parts, cleans, lubricates, and reassembles equipment. Follows preventative maintenance schedules and performs routine scheduled maintenance.
Requirements

- A one year probationary period may be required.
- Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
- Work involves frequent lifting and carrying parts and assemblies weighing up to 40 pounds. Occasionally may push or pull larger assemblies weighing up to 100 pounds.
- Work requires frequent bending, climbing, reaching, stooping, standing and working in awkward positions.
- Be available to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation.
Qualifications
Ability to do the work of the position under normal supervision, and demonstrated work experience directly related to the duties and skills described above. Knowledge of bowling equipment assembly, repair, and use of measuring instruments ability to interpret instructions, specification and trouble shoot equipment. Ability to lead employees engaged in technical work related to this position.
Highly preferred criteria: Certification for the Brunswick GSX Pinsetter
