About the Position: Position is located at US Army Forces Command, Deputy Cheief of Staff, G6, Fort Liberty, North Carolina.
Duties
Administer, manage, and analyze programs and supporting services to evaluate their effectiveness in achieving organizational and management objectives.
Provide staff advice, assistance, and consultation to the G6 in administrative and management direction and coordination of staff actions and projects.
Analyze and interpret rules, regulations, directives, correspondence, and related publications on matters of administration.
Review and evaluate completed staff actions (memos, reports, studies, fact sheets, information papers, etc.), for coordination, consistency, logic, soundness of recommendations, and compliance with policy.
Oversee the management of the G6 Front Office security program by providing guidance and assistance on all security matters.
Ensure assigned Front Office personnel receive initial security orientations, annual refresher briefings, termination briefings, and other related training.
Provide staff advice, assistance, and consultation in administrative and management direction and coordination of staff actions and projects.
Provide oversight, coordination, establishment, and revision of Front Office Knowledge Management systems and processes.
Responsible for management, review, oversight, and accomplishment of a variety of administrative programs and services.
Assist in in interpretation and application of personnel management policies and procedures.
Responsible for coordination for military awards, evaluations, leaves, rating schemes, civilian appraisals, and military and civilian awards.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance through the duration of your employment.
- Position requires the employee to occasionally travel away from the normal duty station.
- One-year trial/probationary period may be required.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes (1) experience evaluating and measuring the efficiency and productivity of administrative programs; (2) managing various administrative programs (to include associated information technology tools) necessary for the day-to-day operations of an organization; and (3) experience implementing strategies to ensure compliance with all statutory obligations and regulatory requirements. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
