Duties
Compiles, monitors inputs and performs logistical analyzes of supply, maintenance, and transportation transactions. Monitors the receipt, maintenance, and distribution of computer outputs (generated by the Executive Management Information (EMIS) system) provided by various logistics Standard Army Management Systems (STAMIS') and from other organizations to ensure that all required data is being received. Initiates follow-up actions if inputs/outputs are late or missing. Generates, develops and modifies computer reports on a daily or weekly basis. Reviews computer generated reports. Analyzes computer products to identify production problems or slow-downs and provides recommendations used in developing plans of action to correct supply and transportation problems.
Coordinates supply information with other Army National Guard participating states, units and Table of Distribution (TDA) activities, other LSM offices, the Regional Sustainment Maintenance (RSM) Office, Installation Maintenance Manager's offices and/or Directorates of Logistics, Army Material Command (AMC) and Department of Defense (DOD) Supply Depots, and with the National Guard Bureau ISM cell. Coordinates the shipment of spare parts to selected work sites. Initiates actions and performs inputs to the Executive Management Information System and/or other computerized systems to effect maximum utilization of maintenance and supply assets. Performs cost analyses of production and projected work estimates to achieve maximum cost avoidance.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements

- APPOINTMENT FACTORS: Excepted/Enlisted in the Alaska Army National Guard.
- MILITARY GRADE REQUIREMENT: Due to the nature of this position, the minimum military grade is Specialist (SPC/E4) and the maximum military grade is Sergeant First Class (SFC/E7).
- DESIRABLES: Possesses a Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) in the 15 or 92 Series.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance of the position.
- This position is covered by the Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment (30 Sep 96) of the Gun Control Act (Lautenberg Amendment) of 1968. An individual convicted of a qualifying crime of domestic violence may not perform the duties of this position.

Qualifications
GENERAL EXPERIENCE is experience, education, or training which has provided the applicant with a general knowledge of one or more aspects of the supply field. Experience using computer and automation systems.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION is experience and education which is directly related to the position to be filled and which has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of this position.
Specialized Experience - Must have at least 1-year specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade. Must have experience, education, or training which involved detailed knowledge of organizations and their functions in logistical support (i.e., supply, maintenance, quality assurance, facilities). Experience planning and organizing work assignments. Compiles, monitors inputs and performs logistical analyzes of supply, maintenance, and transportation transactions. Coordinates the shipment of spare parts to selected work sites. Initiates actions and performs inputs to the Executive Management Information System and/or other computerized systems to effect maximum utilization of maintenance and supply assets.

Education - Possess a master's, an equivalent graduate degree, or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree. NOTE: In order to be considered for this position using education as a basis of qualification, you must submit a copy of your transcripts.
OR
Combination - A combination of Specialized Experience and Education as described above. Only graduate education in excess to 1 full year of graduate level education may be used when combining education and experience to meet the total qualification requirements. NOTE: In order to qualify for this position using a combination of experience and education, you must submit a copy of your transcripts.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Resume must have complete dates and hours worked per week for each occurrence of both civilian and military employment (Example: 2 JAN 1980 to 3 MAR 1981; 0800-1630 M-F or JAN 1980 to MAR 1981; 40 hrs/wk) Use of year only will result in disqualification. -- Skill in applying analytical techniques in evaluating and recommending solutions to problems affecting production, workflow and effective performance of repair facilities and in determining capabilities of these facilities to accomplish repair activities given the facilities, manpower and equipment available.
-- Working knowledge of computer maintenance and supply systems to input and obtain data used in monitoring status and/or making recommendations, analyzing computer printouts, and monitoring repair site jobs.
-- Knowledge of Army supply and maintenance organizations in order to understand their interaction with the LSM office.
-- Knowledge of maintenance, transportation and financial operations and procedures to coordinate and facilitate the repair process with involved units.
-- Ability to communicate orally and in writing to effectively coordinate with organizations and to prepare reports and briefings.
