About the Position: About the Position:The Facility Services Assistant manages work order requests, providing comprehensive office support. The ERDC-Hanover, NH site, currently undergoing a remedial investigation of trichloroethylene (formerly used as a refrigerant) that was released into the environment; interim actions underway to ensure a safe work environment.

Duties

Perform the full range of work involved in office management support of the Directorate of Public Works Facility Programs and Services, includes managing work requests for operations and mission support work throughout the Hanover Laboratory. Enter and Maintain Data in Facility Engineer Management System (FEMS), a Maximo based Work Order tracking system. Maintain Drawings, Specifications and Project Records in File Room. Scan and copy drawings. Obtain and Maintain a Government Credit Card for purchases. Maintain and update government records, including tracking of staff training. Monitor and order office supplies. The ERDC-Hanover, NH site, currently undergoing a remedial investigation of trichloroethylene (formerly used as a refrigerant) that was released into the environment; interim actions underway to ensure a safe work environment.

Experience: To qualify based on experience, your resume must describe at least one year specialized experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as: maintain and update government records, including tracking of staff training, record and distribute minutes of meetings, maintain timekeeping and keeping track of daily status of employees (on site, out sick, travel, and on leave), and purchase a variety of materials, parts, supplies and end items. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Customer ServiceFacilities Operations ManagementPractices, Procedures, Responsibilities, and Functions of ContractorsProblem Solving All qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement.
