About the position: This position is located at Gibson CDC on kirtland AFB, NM Position will be Flexible or Regular Part Time. Flex guarantees 0 hrs/wk. Regular Part time guarantees 20 hrs/wk & may be eligible for benefits such as Medical/Dental, Group Life, 401(k), AFNAF Retirement.

Requirements

  • This position requires the incumbent to complete a background investigation with favorable results.
  • Must be able to lift, move and pull 40 pounds.
  • Must be able to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical due to the moderate lifting and physical effort required for the position.
  • This position requires the incumbent to be able to obtain, maintain, and provide evidence of current immunizations this includes annual influenza vaccinations and be free of all communicable diseases.
  • Must be able to obtain a Food Handler’s Certificate and/or complete food handler's training
  • Satisfactorily complete installation, state and national criminal background check

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Ability to follow simple oral instructions. Ability to use hand tools for cleaning, and operate simple machines. Skill in doing tasks with several steps and must use judgement in sequencing tasks. Knowledge of sanitation standards in handling and serving food, and for cleaning equipment and work area. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:

Education

FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program.
