About the Position: Position is with the US Army Corps of Engineers, Sacramento District, Engineering Division, located in either Sacramento, CA, or Anchorage, AK.
Duties
Use Engineering Management System (EMS) to perform program scheduling and planning that involve formulating both broad and specific guidelines for planning program elements and sub-elements.
Develop program objectives, operating schedules, resource requirements, and overall program plans.
Perform specialized reviews and analyses of program execution and financial status of all programs, and make comparative analyses.
Evaluate technical and functional objectives, program goals, fund availability, and status information for projects.
Establish format and reporting requirements within the broad guidelines of current regulations.
Provide programming guidance to staff and management to ensure that input is sufficient to provide program plans that will achieve program objectives.
Coordinates with other Districts and South Pacific Division in implementation of EMS.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes Engineering Management System or similar engineering systems to schedule, scope, and budget preparation, formulation and execution to include regulations, preparing cost estimates and using financial databases and metrics databases such as Power BI to analyze project funds and progress. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
