Duties
As a AIRMAN AND FAMILY READINESS SPECIALIST, GS-0301-09, you will assist the Air National Guard Wing leadership in the development and implementation of a family readiness and support program and provides family readiness assistance at the GSUs. Provide plans for an efficient resource management program and maximum support of service delivery. Identify family issues that require exploration, development, and resolutions, and determines appropriate methods and resources. Coordinate information for seminars, conferences, and orientation workshops as appropriate for family members and volunteers. Maintain adequate records and databases to administer the family program and to provide the necessary reports to the Mission Support Flight (MSF) Commander/Human Resource Officer (Director of Personnel (DP)) and SFPD. Perform other duties as assigned.

GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience, education or training which provided a general knowledge of principles of organization, management, and administration. Compiling reports, letters, memoranda, etc., and required person-to-person contacts to convey information. Progressively responsible experience which demonstrates the ability to provide technical guidance and assistance in the type of work or in comparable work of the position to be filled. Experience using computer and automation systems.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Application must indicate 36 months of experience providing technical guidance and assistance in the type of work or in comparable work of the position to be filled. Applicants must have a thorough knowledge and understanding of administrative procedures and practices of management. Experience developing administrative procedures.
QUALITY OF EXPERIENCE: Length of time is not of itself qualifying. Candidates' experience should be evaluated on the basis of duties performed rather than strictly on the rank of the individual; however, established compatibility criteria/assignments must be followed. The applicant's record of experience, training, and education must show possession of the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to fully perform the duties of the position to be filled.
