Duties

You will serve as a Senior Analyst for the Resource Management Office, Financial Operations Division Core Team with responsibility for providing budgetary and managerial accounting assistance to serviced activities. You will perform detailed budget administration functions associated with the formulation, execution, monitoring and review of the operating budget. You will establish environment that ensures proper interface of data between IMCOM Financial Systems and the General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS). You will monitor the progress of obligations, commitments, and expenditures throughout the budget year to determine if command objectives are being met and cost ceilings adhered to. You will provide advice on how the accounting system functions to serve management's business needs based upon its access to detailed records and system operational information.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Temporary duty travel (TDY) may be required up to 10%.
• Incumbent of this position may be required or placed on-call to participate in the emergency operation center, DPTMS in the event of a emergency, crisis, or training exercise.
• Financial Management Level 2 Certified position designated as such in accordance with the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Public Law 112-81, Subtitle F-Financial Management, section 1051, amending 10 United States Code, section 1599d.
• Incumbent of this position is required to comply with all Department of Defense and Department of the Army requirements of this certification program.
• This certification requirement is a condition of employment for this position. Failure to obtain this certification within the required time may subject the incumbent to adverse action.
