Duties
Serve as the Facility and Services Supervisor, in the Socorro Field Division.
Responsible for assisting in the management of subordinate staff, multi-year operational budges, and the utilization of information technologies.
Provide continuous evaluation of O&M management practices and procedures and make recommendations to management for improvements.
Provide technical expertise in asset, operations, and fleet management.
Execute established work plans; establish work schedules and priorities in coordination with the Facility Manager, Construction, Mechanic and Administrative Supervisory staff.
Work with engineering and environmental staff in the development and implementation of projects and maintenance procedures.
Support development of long term and annual project plans and acquisition packages for long-term maintenance.
Analyze review recommendations and incorporates recommendations into long term and annual project plans for completion.
Qualifications
In order to be rated as qualified for this position, the HR Office must be able to determine that you meet the specialized experience requirement - this information must be clearly supported in the resume.
To qualify at the GS-12, you must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade (GS-11) in the private or public sector performing the following: (1) providing administrative oversight responsibility for construction projects; (2) preparing reports, plans and status updates for management review; (3) developing and/or executing financial plans and/or budgets; (4) submitting recommendations for procedures and schedules of preventative maintenance for construction projects.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Education
This position does not allow substituting education for experience.
