As a Senior Production Specialist, you will:
-Prepare and develop policies, guidelines, procedures and regulations to provide field offices with guidance on covered areas, or to respond to statutory or industry changes or identified problems.
-Analyze creditworthiness of key principals and development of team members, the financial projections of projects operating budgets against applicable HUD database information, industry or local standards, and expenses of other comparable projects, and may assess counterparty exposure related to risk share agreements.
-Originate correspondence to address inquiries from lenders, industry, field offices, members of Congress, and individual members of the public which require sophisticated analysis and responses about complex issues.
Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.
Specialized Experience:
For the GS-14, you must have one (1) year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes:
Providing interpretation and guidance regarding housing development, construction and operating procedures, laws, and regulations related to multifamily rental housing development (5 or more apartment units, not condominiums), including multifamily rental loan origination, multifamily underwriting, or a related multifamily rental or commercial area; AND
Underwriting multifamily housing projects; AND
Developing policies and procedures related to multifamily underwriting or multifamily rental loan origination; AND
Analyzing and resolving disputes, controversies or problems dealing with multifamily underwriting, multifamily rental loans or multifamily rental projects.
Experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. Time-in-Grade: In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable:
For the GS-14 you must have been at the GS-13 level for 52 weeks.
Time After Competitive Appointment: Candidates who are current Federal employees serving on a non-temporary competitive appointment must have served at least three months in that appointment.
