This is a NAF position with the 17th Force Support Squadron, located at NAF Marketing on Goodfellow AFB, San Angelo, Texas.
This position is considered Regular Part-Time (RPT). You are guaranteed 20 hours, but has the potential to work up to 40 hours/week. You may be required to work nights, weekends and holidays. As a RPT employee, you are eligible to earn annual/sick leave and sign up for benefits, to include Health/Dental and Life Insurance, 401k and NAF Retirement.
Duties
Assists the Marketing Director in developing and implementing marketing programs for the Force Support Squadron (FSS).
This position works directly with the Marketing Director to enhance promotional packages for potential sponsors and is responsible for maintaining appropriate sponsorship goals.
This position not only negotiates sponsorship contracts for selected sponsors cut also develops advertising agreement paperwork for the marketing department while ensuring prompt and accurate payment(s).
This position prepares and submits sponsor and advertising data monthly into the appropriate computer program.
Responsible for administering surveys, collecting data, tabulating responses and analyzing results for after actions and other reports.
Develops solicitation packets and solicits sponsorship from local, regional, national and international sponsors.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience:
Must have the ability to effectively communicate, both oral and written, to all levels of leadership and to all FSS customers. Must have experience with social media outlets such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and texting. Must be organized with excellent time management skills and able to maintain well-organized files. Must have the ability to effectively work with the local community to provide sponsorship assistance to FSS. In addition, must have specialized experience which demonstrates the ability to design and layout advertising copy and artwork using Adobe Creative Suite software, work processing and other software. Subject to completion of OGE Form 450. Financial Disclosure within 30 days of entry and annually. Must have a valid driver's license if required to operate a government motor vehicle. Must have ability to read, write, and speak English. This is a position of trust. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a Tier-1 background investigation.
Education
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution.
FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying.
