THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 5 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a INDUSTRIAL HYGIENE TECHNICIAN, Position Description Number T5429000 and is part of the ID Occupational Safety and Health, National Guard. THIS POSITION IS PERMANENT.

Duties

As a INDUSTRIAL HYGIENE TECHNICIAN (TITLE 5), GS-0640-9, you will plan, schedule, execute, manage, and administer the ARNG Industrial Hygiene program for the state to maintain and promote the health of military and technician personnel.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade, GS-07, in the Federal service in the normal line of progression for the occupation, Industrial Hygiene Technician. OR Education: Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree, with major study or at least 24 semester hours in subjects directly related to the position. (Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.) OR Combination of Education and Experience: You may meet the qualifications requirement for this position by combining your specialized experience and appropriate education according to the following formula: (a) your total months of full-time specialized experience as a percentage of a 12 month total; PLUS (b) your total number of qualifying semester or quarter hours as a percentage of one year of graduate study.
