To qualify for GS-14, candidates must also have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level, GS-13. Specialized Experience - Experience in evaluating, analyzing, developing, managing, or improving communications systems, procedures, and requirements that demonstrated knowledge of current developments and trends in communications concepts and technology. GS-14 - You qualify if you possess one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal, State, or Local government or equivalent public or private sector experience, performing the following duties: Evaluating reports to identify sources to plan and provide resolution of incidents; AND Determining recommendations to avoid potential problems that may impact operational performance; AND Participating in briefings, presentations, reports and/or technical papers to ensure awareness of changes and updates to procedures and requirements.
